What Is a Laminating Carrier
A laminating carrier is a glossy folded cardboard sleeve the laminating pouch is placed into and then inserted into the laminating machine. Some more expensive laminating machines require that a laminating carrier be used. Some lower priced laminating machines do not require that a carrier be used.
Using a carrier with your laminator helps to protect your laminator by preventing pouches from wrapping around the rollers on your laminator or leaving adhesive on your rollers. They are made from a coated stock that also prevents your pouches from sticking to the carriers.
